Josh Earnest on Trump-KKK Flap: ‘We Now Know All We Need to Know’
The White House has now weighed in on Donald Trump‘s KKK remarks, and it’s about what you’d expect.
Last Friday, Trump rather lamely said, “I disavow, okay?” when asked about being endorsed by ex-KKK leader David Duke. Then, when asked multiple times to condemn him on CNN yesterday, Trump repeatedly refused.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest addressed the controversy at today’s press briefing.

He said that while Trump may need to know more about the KKK, “we now know all we need to know about Mr. Trump to render our personal opinion of his candidacy.”
Trump claims he didn’t condemn David Duke and white supremacists because of his “lousy earpiece,” despite repeating the words “David Duke” and “white supremacists” and completely understanding what Tapper was asking him.
