Limbaugh: If Kanye Sang the Racist Frat Song, It Would Be a Hit

Rush Limbaugh has a theory about the perception of that racist chant by a University of Oklahoma fraternity, and it involves Kanye West.

After delving into the controversy over Morning Joe connecting the chant to rap music, Limbaugh attempted to offer some perspective on the matter.

He said, “If this had been a song by Kim Kardashian‘s husband, and then sung this song at the Grammys, it’d be a hit.”

Why? Well, as Limbaugh argued, “this stuff gets awards” and people like West are heralded as Hollywood royalty, so therefore, singing a song about keeping black people out of a fraternity along with a reference to lynching would obviously fly.
