Page Six is reporting that Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, the hosts of the venerable MSNBC show Morning Joe, may, “soon go public as a couple.” Rumors have been swirling for years about the duo but this is the first time anyone has suggested they may go public with a relationship.
Three years after Scarborough divorced from his wife, Page Six has learned that Brzezinski and her husband, ABC Eyewitness News reporter James Hoffer, have recently settled on a hush-hush divorce as well. An inside source familiar with the situation told Page Six’s Emily Smith, “Everybody at 30 Rock knows they are a couple… They are constantly together, they arrive and leave events together, even on weekends. They are each other’s publicists and finish each other’s sentences. It’s the worst kept secret in TV.”
An MSNBC representative confirmed the details of Brzezinski’s divorce, but would not comment on the further claims of a romantic relationship with her Morning Joe cohost. One has to believe that if there was no truth to the report at all that they would have likely said so.
After 12 years of marriage, Scarborough — who served as a Republican Congressman for the state of Florida prior to his contract with MSNBC — divorced Susan Waren, a former aide to former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
