Report: Pence to Make the Talk Show Rounds on Sunday Morning, With CNN Notably Omitted

Vice President Mike Pence is reportedly set to make the talk show rounds this Sunday, with one notable exception.

According to a report by Michael Calderone of the Huffington Post, Pence will appear on NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox, but not CNN.

This comes days after a Politico report that the White House no longer planned to send spokespeople to appear on the network.

On Wednesday, the administration did make Sebastian Gorka, a deputy assistant to President Donald Trump, available for an interview on The Lead with Jake Tapper.

According to the Huffington Post, the White House offered presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway to CNN on Sunday morning. But not Pence. The network reportedly declined.

These will be Pence’s first appearances on the Sunday shows since he took the oath as Vice President. Later in the day, Trump will appear in a pre-taped interview with Bill O’Reilly on Fox set to air during the network’s Super Bowl pregame show.
