Fox News’ Katie Pavlich: Ocasio-Cortez Barring Press From Event Signals She’s ‘Harboring’ Illegal Immigrants

Fox News contributor and Townhall Editor Katie Pavlich floated a theory as to why New York Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez barred press from a recent event: she was “harboring” illegal immigrants.

Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to state that she shut out reporters from her town hall in Queens so that her supporters could feel safe: “Our community is 50% immigrant. Folks are victims of (domestic violence), trafficking, (and) have personal medical issues. This town hall was designed for residents to feel safe discussing sensitive issues in a threatening political time.”

Pavlich said on Outnumbered Monday that tweet indicated Ocasio-Cortez was up to something.

“She says that 50% of the community are immigrants, but at the same time doesn’t want to let anyone in to meet who these people are, which signals to me that they are actually illegal immigrants and that they are harboring them, and they don’t want the press to expose that they’re here illegally.”

“That’s what she wants you to say, that’s the trap you’re falling into,” Outnumbered co-host Melissa Francis replied.
