Who’s Winning in Michigan?

Michigan has 16 electoral votes.

As of Monday, the RealClearPolitics average of the most recent Michigan polls showed Clinton ahead with a 5.0-point lead in a two-way race, and Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight gave Clinton a 78.5% percent chance of winning the state.

The polls close at 8 p.m. local time, and the vast majority of the state is in the eastern time zone. Four counties in the western Upper Peninsula are in the central time zone and so will close at 9 p.m. eastern time.

Michigan has not voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988.
