Last time my family and I took a vacation… it was my mother who got searched. Not my me or my younger brother (we were around 20 at the time), but Momma-INB had to take her shoes off. It was no big deal, and my father started shouting that she was pretty shifty looking… we all had a good laugh and that’s it… but really? Mom? Why must “random searches” be synonymous with “stupid.”

every single time my mother comes to visit me in Italy she gets her backs thorougly searched. they go through all of her carry on bags, removing everything, and search her. every time. it is ridiculous.
