Report: Protester Who Called Andrew Breitbart “Gay” Identified As A Democratic Official

video

Last month Andrew Breitbart spoke at the conservative Right Nation conferences outside of Chicago, and after finding out that some liberal protesters had decided to camp out near the venue of an event he was headlining with Glenn Beck, Breitbart decided to face the crowd and ask, “what are you protesting?” In the ensuing kerfuffle, a woman is alleged to have derisively said of Mr. Breitbart “I think he’s gay!” Well now that individual appears to have been identified by Breitbart’s own Big Government site as Sue Walton, a Democratic Official from Illinois.

Writing for Big Government, Andrew Marcus reports:

During last month’s Right Nation gathering just outside of Chicago, Andrew Breitbart found himself confronting a group of angry protesters who had been bussed in by the Democratic Party. Full coverage of that epic protest failure can be found here.

At one point a protester wearing an orange rain parka can be heard casting what she seemed to think was a homophobic aspersion about Breitbart, exclaiming, “I think he’s gay!”

This person has now been identified by multiple sources as a local Democratic Party official named Sue Walton.

We spoke with Sue Walton by phone to tell her that she had been identified, and to offer her a chance to comment and/or deny that she attended the protest, and/or to deny the accuracy of the quote attributed to her. Walton declined our offer, twice.

Watch the video report (including footage from the incident) below:

If this is indeed true, Sue Walton is a disgrace and should be ashamed of herself. She has no place in any political organization doing crap like that. As if Democrats didn’t have enough of a bad rap already, she just adds it on.

    soooo tolerant

  • espo222

When are people going to learn that democrats only exploit and use gays and minorities, to get elected.

  • The Real Royal Knig

The only thing worth noting in this story is the word kerfuffle. It is wholly underused in the world.

    Kerfuffle. What a wonderful word.

  • Bill Mahwer

Just another example of Democrat dirty tricks.

They have many bags full of them.

The problem with Breitbart is the fact that he has used video editing techniques to slander people, its hard for me to give this video any credibility. While this video seems authentic, it would be relatively easy for him ask a leading question to get a response he wishes and edit the rest of the video.

  • Cancon2

I heard that Ron Howard has threatened to sue her and that Vince Vaughn is willing to let it go.

  • Big Eddie

Obama , Podesta and Soros should denounce their fellow Democrat official !

  • tatboy

Once again we see which party is the party of Hate and Hate Speech.

  • NORBIT

Don’t you pepole just want to SHOWER every time you tell someone you’re a Democrat?

    LOL!!

So for the record, King doesn’t have a problem with a Dem using the word Gay as an insult IF it’s aimed at a Conservative.

Just an FYI… that ain’t Robert (RRK). Note the spelling of “Knig”.

  • Harry Flashman

    Interesting. The party of kumbaya.

I’d be curious to hear some past statements from this representative of the left on things like, um, gay rights and gays in society, gays in the military, gay marriage, etc.

Just wondering what the views of one who thinks that shouting, “he’s gay” is the most insulting thing to say to a guy, that’s all.

Haha, normally I notice that. I guess I looked too quickly.

And the presumed pronunciation of “Knig” could be perceived by some as an intentional racist slur.

    I’m just sayin’…

Exactly. You would think that the NOW group would be going berserk over how Muslims treat women. Likewise, you would think that the gay groups would be going berserk over how Muslims treat gays. (Don’t the Iranians hang gays?)

    But both groups are silent.

They are silent because the deep-down Modern Liberals/Progressives control these groups and use the groups as fronts.

If you mean that Sherrod issue (where Sherrod was caught talking in racist language), Breitbard did not edit the video, it was an EXCERPT. Big difference.

I assume you don’t watch television too often. Campaign ads from both sides use edited videos and sound bites to lie about their opponents. Cables news is also guilty of doing the same thing.

It is a well established fact that Sue Walton is a notorious fag hag in IL Dem circles, you can see her at Roscoe’s in Chicago pretty often and I am pretty sure her gaydar is pretty keen. Notice Breitbart didn’t deny it, he is cute for sure.

So as a gay man, what is your opinion of what Ms. Walton did?

  • felixw

If you want to find outrageous signs and embarrassing comments at any conservative gathering, just look for the Democrats who are on hand. That’s one of the reasons why Glenn Beck asked participants at his recent rally to leave all signs at home. The leftwing is so determined to link their opponents to embarrassments of this sort that they have been forced to create the very signs and incidents they later report on. When you take away these contrived signs, the leftwing media are left dumbfounded — because they no longer had a “safe” angle to use in reporting on the event. And you KNOW that they never report on what is said from the podium — because if they talked about those pleas for government accountability and fiscal responsibility, most of their readers would be in agreement. And they would NEVER want that to happen. But even without signs, you get people like Sue Walton, a Democrat party official operating as an agitator at a conservative event. A sad spectacle, to be sure, but very much part of the Democrat playbook these days.

You’re talking semantics now. In order to excerpt something, you need to edit a video. While yes, your larger point is that he did not doctor the video is true–nonetheless he took something out of context in order to make an ideological point.

Cable news is shit. So are campaign ads, that’s why I don’t rely on them. Perfect example is the ad Alan Grayson ran intending to make his opponent seem as if he is “pro subservient women”. It’s all a joke.

  • NORBIT

Ohhhhh, first the DOJ sues to keep DODT stayed, and now a Democratic ‘plant’ does some gay-bashing on behalf of the party.

Tsk, tsk…now that can’t be good for next Tuesday!

    LMAO!!!!

The whole video was available and Breitbart’s excerpt was pretty “big.” Editing is quite different.

    I’m curious, Jonathan Scott…..

So, what if he IS gay? Shouldn’t he be welcomed under the Big Umbrella of the left? You know, all for one, and so on?

If a conservative shouted anything similar he or she would be pilloried on the alter of political correctness. It would be headlines, the centerfold of every liberal talking point.

You people are the biggest hypocrites in history.

Apparently so does Andrew Breitbart and Aaron Shrock.

I see her intent going two ways. Less likely, she could be using ‘gay’ as a negative term, which would be despicable. More likely, she is likening to the stereotypical gay closeted republican, which is just as despicable. All around, pretty despicable.

Breitbart posted what he was sent. He didn’t cut the excerpts. And when he got the entire video, he posted a correction to the facts that were wrong in his original post. What else would you like from him?

No it certainly won’t but I know a lot of Larry Craig, Ed Schrock and Mark Foley types that would pay good money for an Andrew Breitbart Aaron Shrock, Bear does twink video.

I think he’s gay to; what’s the point. I have no problem with him being gay – he just comes across that way and should probably come out.

The difference is – because we know Republican’ts are sheep – WE’RE NOT denying homosexuals rights that all citizens of the US should enjoy. YOU ARE!!!

So, by my thinking Andrew is GAY – does not make me a hypocrit – for I don’t care what he does with his partner(s) sexually; what he does in creating hate and fear mongering and intentional deceit as funded by the Koch Bros./Rupert Murdoch, et. al. does. He represents the hate and fear mongering party of GOP intellectually challenged and appeals to those in our society that are bigots, racists, homophobes and religiously indoctrinated to do the Corporate Citizen’s bidding.
