Fox News Guest Suggests We Need to ‘Shut Down The FBI’ Because Obama Made it a ‘KGB-Type Operation’

Today in the campaign to bury Special Counsel Robert Mueller under a mound of conspiratorial blather, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton appeared on Fox News to suggest that the FBI needs to be shut down because “it was turned into a KGB-type operation by the Obama administration.”
Fitton, a conservative activist and reliable crusader against the investigation into President Donald Trump’s campaign ties to Russia, appeared on Fox News @ Night to raise questions about the relationship between Fusion GPS and Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
“Forget about the FBI investigation into Clinton and Trump being compromised by these conflicts,” Fitton continued. “I think the FBI is compromised.”
“Forget about shutting down Mr. Mueller, do we need to shut down the FBI because it was turned into a KGB-type operation by the Obama administration?”
Fitton’s comments come after Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein took a battering at the hands of House Republicans at a hearing on Wednesday, who grilled him with questions over whether Mueller’s Russia probe was compromised by bias.
Questions over the probe’s bias were raised after an investigator was dismissed by Mueller when it was discovered he sent anti-Trump texts.
Rosenstein defended Mueller, telling Republican lawmakers that while investigators have political opinions, “it’s our responsibility to make sure those opinions do not influence their actions.”
