Hannity: ‘Maybe It’s Time to Change the Traditional Relationship’ the Press Has with WH

hannitySean Hannity tonight went off on the media yet again and called for a reevaluation of how the press gets to cover the presidency.

Hannity kicked off with Trump’s closed-door meeting with TV networks yesterday and touted the tough words Trump directed at CNN, NBC, and ABC. He said they all clearly deserved everything he threw at them.

Hannity proceeded to run a lengthy montage showing many in the media, including assorted late night comedians, laughing at the idea of Trump winning and saying over and over it’s “the end” for him.

He said that journalism is in a far worse state than he thought, given the WikiLeaks revelations, and said, “In my opinion, it’s time to re-evaluate the press in this country, and maybe it’s time to change the traditional relationship that the press will have with the White House.”

Hannity argued that Trump should just go around the press and speak directly to the people, before concluding thusly:

“So until members of the media come clean about colluding with the Clinton campaign and admit that they knowingly broke every ethical standard that they’re supposed to stand and uphold, they should not have the privilege, they should not have the responsibility of covering the president on behalf of you, the American people.”
