They dreamed of all these real issues falling by the wayside and that he could win the 2012 election by showing his birth certificate to a joke candidate with a bad toupee? But the Left (and the mainstream media) may ignore reality, but it hasn’t gone away.

Yes, and he is quite subdued over these as well:

Record monthly deficits
Record debt
Record # of foreclosures
Record # on welfare
Record # living in poverty
Record job losses in 2009
Record high gas prices

Overall Carney laughed throughout the questioning, which seemed to suggest that at least he was happy Trump is gone.

Trump isn’t running for president, does not necessarily equate to Trump is gone. If Obama was subdued, which isn’t his mean girl style, it will be short lived.

The Donald is not one to let anyone, let alone a punk like Obama take advantage of him at that left wing bomb throwers dinner.

Barack’s chickens will soon be coming home to roost, when he least expects it ( 7 point drop in poll #’s ) expect it.

The last laugh, actually the last 200 laughs will be at Barack’s expense.

You still believe 2012 will be awesome because of the Palin/West ticket? I remember some really nutty comments people make here. If you really believe 2012 will be awesome for the GOP I encourage you to look at past precedents with an incumbent president with high personal approval numbers. A lot can change between now and then, but there are very strong reasons why the biggest hitters in the GOP such as Christie, Huckabee, and Jeb Bush are sitting this one out. Think about it.

And besides, now that the Newtster is formally in the game, the creepy factor is right back up there again, and now the self-immolation can move on to what ‘Licans laughably call their “intellectual” cred.
