ratings

Cable news ratings, November 25, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• MSNBC made the choice to go into doc block programming Wednesday night, which is normally the programming reserved for the weekends and holidays. So with no new prime time shows, the network finished 4th in prime time in the A25-54 demographic and total viewers. Fox News, as usual, was 1st by far, with HLN 2nd in demo and CNN 2nd in total viewers.

• The top program of the night was Bill O’Reilly’s 8pmET show on Fox News – which was basically a Dennis Miller greatest hits show – in total viewers and the demo.

Another brilliant move by the brains that run MSNBC

  • Do you think that MSNBC might have a little better ratings IF they would give the REAL news, not just get on air and start to put down every person who Olbermann and Maddow don’t like. That is all these two, supposedly journalist, say from the beginning of their show, until the last. I have tried, but cannot listen to the constant dirty talk they both give to just anyone who they don’t like.

Rep. Boehner On Dem Health Care Bill: Republicans Going To “Make It Difficult, If Not Impossible” To Pass

Well you have to give the man credit for gumption: Rep. John Boehner today on State Of The Union, admitting that even though the House Republicans don't have the votes to stop the bill, they will do everything in their power to stop the Democratic Health Care Reform Bill from becoming a law.

Reporter Warns Robert Gibbs About Fake ‘Robert Gibbs’ On Twitter

Won't the real Robert Gibbs please stand up? "Twitter is quick medium for getting information out, and we'll probably be using it more often," the White House Press Secretary told reporters during a press conference Friday. Which is great and all (the Digital Administration!), except as one journo pointed out, Gibbs has more fake accounts in his name than most celebrities.
