Michelle Obama Makes Cameo At The Oscars, Announces ‘Best Picture’ Winner

We’ve all gotten used to seeing actors present awards to their fellow actors during the Oscars. But the award show mixed it up this time around, bringing in First Lady Michelle Obama to help out with the “best picture” announcement.

Jack Nicholson initially took to the stage, only to inform that Obama was making a surprise appearance via video.

“I am so honored to help introduce this year’s nominees for best picture and to help celebrate the movies that lift our spirits, broaden our minds and transport us to places we have never imagined,” Obama said.

Congratulating each of the films for being nominated, Obama even got to open the envelope and announce the winner.
