Vice President Joe Biden was asked during an interview with NPR that aired today about the Hillary Clinton email investigation. He offered a slim defense of Clinton while declining to get specific.
He said “under the law I can’t comment on that,” and if he did, then it would look like he would be putting pressure on the DOJ.
(Coincidentally, he sat down for this interview in the aftermath of controversy over Bill Clinton‘s plane meeting with Loretta Lynch.)
Biden did go on to praise Clinton’s qualifications and say, “I find it hard to believe that she would do anything intentionally wrong.”
