Juliet Huddy, a former anchor for WNYW, NY’s local Fox affiliate, said yesterday that President Trump once tried to kiss her.
On Mornin’!!! With Bill Schulz, in a segment first flagged by Page Six, Huddy recalled how she and Trump were in an elevator and when he said goodbye, he leaned in to kiss her on the lips.
She said she was “surprised,” but at the time “didn’t feel threatened.”
“It was a weird moment,” Huddy said, “and he never tried anything after that.”
In hindsight, she thinks she probably would have handled it “a little bit differently.”
Huddy tweeted the following after the Page Six report came out:
Re: @PageSix story: Yes, it’s true. And though I’m offended by his comments on ‘other matters’ – as I said on @77WABCradio & @BillSchulz‘s show yesterday – I was neither threatened nor offended in elevator. End of story. Now, plz let me get back to @TheCrownNetflix.

Ed. note — an earlier version misidentified Ms. Huddy as a Fox News anchor and not a Fox Broadcasting anchor. The post has been updated to properly reflect her work history.
