Glenn Beck and Co-Hosts Mock ‘Douche’ Ed Schultz for Radio Show Ending
Glenn Beck is no fan of Ed Schultz, and so Beck reacted on his website today by soaking in the schadenfreude, mocking Schultz (who has previously been brought into the Blaze’s “Douche Hall of Fame”) for ending his radio show.
On his site, Beck pointed out how Schultz used to brag about taking down conservative radio titans, but he ended up with “his career in a downward spiral for quite some time.” He pointed to the “disaster” of Schultz’s MSNBC show and its “abysmal ratings.”
And Beck’s Blaze co-hosts, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere also had some fun with Schultz on their show Pat & Stu today. Burguiere recalled the drama surrounding Schultz’s MSNBC show moving to weekends and then back to weekdays again, calling him a “transparent liar” for not being honest with his viewers regarding the real reasons for the move.
Gray, meanwhile, said that Schultz’s career has “worked out better than he deserves,” calling Schultz talentless and awful, and suggesting he’d be better as a Kmart greeter.
