Limbaugh, Citing Mad Men: Militant Feminism ‘Screwed Up Human Nature’

limbaughEveryone has been talking about the Mad Men finale this week (the writer of this piece may or may not have gotten around to the show yet) and what the show had to say about the America of decades past. There was even a New York Post piece a few days ago about how New York women, despite being more equal and protected legally from certain abuses in the workplace, wish they lived in an era where men “desire” them.

Rush Limbaugh picked up on this today and noted how feminists can’t stand the idea of “traditional sex roles” like back in the Mad Men era.

And in reading from that Post piece, he brought up “something that I have long suspected was one of the negative, very bad outcomes of militant feminism, and it is that it totally screwed up human nature.”

“The natural behavioral roles,” Limbaugh said, “were not automatically questioned and doubted and attacked until the late 60s, when this all intensified.”
