Mark Cuban Continues to Fan the Flames on a 2020 Run: ‘I Think I Qualify’
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban spent much of the 2016 Presidential campaign trying to mix it up with then-candidate, now-President Donald Trump. Might he, in 2020, go a step further and try to take him on directly?
In an interview set to air Sunday night on the Fox News show OBJECTified, Cuban did little to quiet speculation that he plans to run for President in 2020. The Mavericks owner told host Harvey Levin that he feels he’s qualified for the job.
“I think we’re going into a time where you need somebody who can connect to people and relate to people and I think I qualify on each of those,” Cuban said. “Now, whether or not I’ll do it…it’s a big decision.”
Levin called Cuban out, and tried to get the billionaire NBA team owner to admit he’s tossing his hat in the ring.
Levin: You sound like a candidate.
Cuban: I’m a concerned American citizen.
Levin: No – so am I. But I’m not a candidate.
Cuban: I wouldn’t run unless I have solutions. If I have solutions, then I have something to offer. If I don’t, you won’t see me anywhere near being a politician.
Levin: I like you a lot, but that was BS.
We’re with Harvey.
