An evangelical minister running to be the next governor of Massachusetts told UK’s Channel 4 in a recent interview that President Obama is encouraging “sexual anarchy” and suggested that the president may be a gay man himself. Scott Lively spoke out against homosexuality in a speech in Uganda a few years ago, leading critics to link him to the harsh anti-gay laws passed in that country recently. Lively, however, admitted while he likes most of the law, he does not support long prison sentences for gay people.
Reporter Inigo Gilmore grilled Lively on his “pretty inflammatory” remarks connecting gay people to Nazis and basically calling them “monsters.” Lively declared, “people don’t have a lot of courage in standing up to the gay bullies.”
When Gilmore brought up Obama’s opposition to the Ugandan laws, Lively made a rather odd assertion about the Commander-in-Chief.
“I think Mr. Obama may well be a homosexual himself. He’s certainly a radical homosexualist, meaning a person, whether homosexual or not, who is 100 percent invested in the homosexual agenda. He is lending the weight of his office to a movement that’s goal is to overturn the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic and replace it with the gay ethic of sexual anarchy.”
