Nutcase NSC Official Fired After Writing Memo on Globalists and Islamists Waging a ‘Maoist Insurgency’

A high-level National Security Council official was fired last month after he penned a sinister memo warning of forces working to undermine President Donald Trump’s administration — from the “Globalists” to “Islamists” — according to The Atlantic.

Rosie Gray reports that “Rich Higgins, a former Pentagon official who served in the NSC’s strategic-planning office as a director for strategic planning, was let go on July 21.”

The firing is emblematic of a power struggle between nationalist, conspiracy-minded forces in the administration that rose to prominence with the election of Trump — and more establishment officials like National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, who heads up the council.

In an excerpt of the Higgins memo published by The Atlantic, the official warns that “Globalists and Islamists recognize that for their visions to succeed, America, both as an ideal and as a national and political identity, must be destroyed.”

“Islamists ally with cultural Marxists because, as far back as the 1980s, they properly assessed that the left has a strong chance of reducing Western civilization to its benefit,” Higgins writes, before arguing that these forces seeking to undermine the administration do so using a “Maoist insurgency model” of political warfare.

He goes on to argue that “the left is aligned with Islamist organizations at local, national and international levels,” and “recognition should be given to the fact that they seamlessly interoperate through coordinated synchronized interactive narratives.”

According to Gray, Higgins penned the memo in late May, and was called into the White House Counsel’s office in July to be asked about the memo. A few days later, he was fired by Ricky Waddell, McMaster’s deputy.

Michael Anton — author of the famous “Flight 93 Election” essay painting a vote for Trump as the only resort to rescue the United States from sure destruction, who now serves as NSC spokesman — declined to comment on the firing.
