Giuliani: After Trump Announced Muslim Ban, He Asked Me for Right Way to Do It Legally

Rudy Giuliani said on Fox News last night that after President Trump called for a Muslim ban during the campaign, he approached him to ask him how to do it legally.

Fox’s Judge Jeanine Pirro spoke with Giuliani about Trump’s order and both agreed it’s encouraging to see how swiftly the president has taken action so quickly to secure America’s borders.

Pirro asked him if the president’s order has “anything to do with religion.” Giuliani explained, “When he first announced it, he said ‘Muslim ban.’ He called me up, he said, ‘Put a commission together, show me the right way to do it legally.'”

Giuliani said when he put the commission together, they decided to focus on “areas of the world that create danger for us” and that are “sending terrorists into our country.”

He told Pirro that’s what the ban is based on and not religion.
