Mika Brzezinski Says Trump Campaign Chief Paul Manafort ‘Ought to Look For Another Job’
Mika Brzezinski is unimpressed with Paul Manafort‘s job as Donald Trump‘s campaign chairman, and she said that the Melania Trump plagiarism controversy proves he needs to find a new line of work.
Joe Scarborough started Tuesday’s discussion by assessing the situation and concluding that the most painless approach the campaign could’ve taken was acknowledging the mistake and moving on quickly. The panel seemed to agree that that strategy was thrown out when Manafort doubled down and insisted that there was no plagiarism whatsoever
“This is the same man who came on the show yesterday morning and called John Kasich, the governor of this state, an embarrassment,” Brzezinski said. “Why don’t we think that maybe Paul Manafort ought to look for another job?”

“That guy is so negative, that guy is so divisive,” Brzezinski said. “What does he do besides create trouble?”
Scarborough tried to reel things in, but Brzezinski stuck with it and drew cheers from the live audience. Scarborough eventually managed to move on, though he agreed that the campaign’s handling of the commotion indicates that they are in a state of “crisis management,” and that it could be the latest controversy that they allow to “bleed and bleed.”
