There must be more to this story . The kid may have made a threat , which would probably have involved more than taking his picture . Or the British police may have been trying to scare him . Big Eddie usually tells the coppers to take him in or buzz off .

This whole banning people with big mouths from countries is getting kind of loopy. It reminds me of how Britain banned Michael Savage, yet they allow a whole host of real scumbags in. (see Madonna). ;)

I don’t buy the kid’s story and that’s not just because the first link about it led to a Sky News report. They didn’t originate the story and the quote from the local cop seemed to back it up, but I still think the punishment may have been exaggerated as it moved down the pipeline and everyone seems too laid back to me.

If George W. Bush had done this the media would have called him a tyrant and a dictator. Funny the priorities of this administration, when it comes to protecting the border in Arizona they’re against it, they’re even suing Sheriff Arpaio for “profiling.” Yet when it comes to a harmless 17 year old kid who’s gonna come to America for a week and then leave, oh, he’s a security threat. Yeah, right. I’m more afraid of Mexican cartels than of British teenagers, common sense, people!
