Fox’s Stossel: Gay Marriage Movement Going from ‘Tolerance to Totalitarianism’
Indiana’s religious freedom law garnered lots of backlash from celebrities, CEOs, politicians, and other gay marriage supporters. Fox Business’ John Stossel backs gay marriage too, but told Bill O’Reilly tonight, “This movement has moved from tolerance to totalitarianism. It’s the totalitarianism of the left.”
He said that people shouldn’t be forced to act outside of their religious conscience, period. O’Reilly, who started the segment by talking about necessary legal protections for gay people, agreed with Stossel about the “fascism” on the left that needs to be confronted.
Stossel further noted that “a bigot ought to be allowed to be a bigot” and the way to punish them is by not patronizing their place of business.
