James Carville: Glenn Beck Is Nuts And A Blatant Hypocrite

video

Picture 2 Glenn Beck was the topic of conversation on CNN this morning when host John King asked guests Mary Matalin and James Carville what they thought of the controversial Fox News host. After viewing a clip of Lindsay Graham claiming that Beck did not speak for the GOP, Matalin pointed out Beck’s many successful targets in the last few weeks. Carville, however, had a much different opinion.

“I think he’s nuts,” Carville claimed unequivocally. “I think he’s out and out nuts and he’s a blatant hypocrite.

I firmly believe that people like Glenn Beck have a short shelf life. He’s very successful at what he does: he sells tons of books, gets high ratings, and can pretty much say and do whatever he wants without any lasting repercussions. But you can push the envelope only so far. With each nonsensical thing he says or does, he further diminishes what little credibility he has now.

Absolutely agree. Guys like him, such as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, have been a flash in the pan…..Oh, wait.

OK, just watched the clip (which I think more of Carville’s quote should be printed in the article) and love it! Exposed himself?!? When has Beck changed his tone to “expose himself”? Carville did a good job of pulling his pants down and “exposing” his backside.

Glenn Beck is representing conservative Republicans better now than Lindsay Graham ever will.

@gump47371: I can’t speak for James Carville and his answer could’ve been better, but what would you expect him to say? He’s being asked whether Glenn Beck represents the Republican Party and Mary had already accurately answered the question, so he just continued the same theme that he hits every Sunday.

As for the “exposed himself”, I’m interpreting that he’s referencing Beck’s promotion of a book called “The 5000 Year Leap”, with which I wasn’t familiar until today, but even the book’s Amazon page has been edited to include Mr. Beck’s endorsement. And, if you read a quickly-googled blogpost from BeliefNet, the book and author appears to have been controversial for a variety of reasons.

and talk about the odd couple, these two.

I have to agree with JunkJunk on his point. Glenn Beck is a man that is a flash in the pan. In another 20 or 30 years, we may possibly tire of his programs. I am already seeing where in another 20 years. Hannity and Limbaugh will start to wane.
Nothing is forever on TeeVee or radio. But in the short 20 or 30 years that we have these guys, we will still tune in. Or maybe the last of the liberal/progressive/neo-commies will just throw in the towel, recognising the folly of their way and allow the American people to have their dreams, hopes and freedoms back. Oh ye, and let us keep more of our hard earned money than they take.

Carville is exactly right on Beck. This book that is his manifesto, “The 5000 Year Leap” is a fictional crazy diatribe disguised as real history. Eventually, anyone not crazy will find out what Beck is all about and he will go down. And Carville also hit the nail on the head because Beck is genuinely mental ill taking medication daily in order not to spin off into complete psychosis.

  • ImNotBlue

Dr. Harper, can you please back up this statement:

“And Carville also hit the nail on the head because Beck is genuinely mental ill taking medication daily in order not to spin off into complete psychosis.”

GB is a pathological liar and a sociopath with no conscience for his irresponsible comments.

    He’s a profiteering narcissist.

(You can look up the big words- “and decide for yourself” if the shoe fits.)
