On Real Time Friday night Bill Maher commended Sen. Bernie Sanders for the grace and patriotism he demonstrated at the DNC, but observed that he “didn’t look too happy” when Obama and Clinton mentioned him in their respective speeches.
“You looked like a husband who was sitting there [outside] the waiting room while the wife tries on clothes,” Maher quipped.
If he seemed stoic sitting in the arena, Sanders was still resolute in his intention to continue his “revolution.” He affirmed his intention to help Clinton get elected, calling Trump “the most dangerous presidential candidate in the modern history of this country.”
He also announced his determination to continue standing up for the declining middle class, fighting income and wealth inequality, and championing affordable education and health care.
