‘I Don’t Quite Understand It’: Rand Paul Addresses Trump’s Voter Fraud Concerns
Today, Rand Paul told Wolf Blitzer pretty clearly that President-elect Donald Trump‘s false claims that “millions” of people voted illegally are straight-up nonsensical. He repeatedly insisted he doesn’t “understand” why the PEOTUS is insisting there was fraud when he won the race.
He did say that there was some veracity to claims that the media is biased, “but as far as the elections, whether or not they’re legitimate,” there is no evidence that modern voter fraud exists. Worries exist, yes, but the actual fraud doesn’t appear to.
“I largely do trust” the system, he said before saying clearly that he doesn’t personally believe millions of people voted illegally.
