Lauren Duca Launches Teen Vogue Column, Calls It ‘Thigh-High Politics’ in Honor of Tucker Carlson

Back in December, Lauren Duca had a Teen Vogue piece on Donald Trump gaslighting America go massively viral, so Tucker Carlson had her on his Fox News show, then insulted her by telling her to stick to covering “thigh-high boots” because she’s “better at that.”

Just yesterday, a new profile of Carlson revealed that he actually wanted to be mean to her in that now-infamous clip, but Duca has turned a lemon into lemonade on her own. Today (her birthday, even) she announced a new project.

Here is the description of her new Teen Vogue column, titled “Thigh-High Politics”:

Thigh-High Politics is an op-ed column by Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca that breaks down the news, provides resources for the resistance, and just generally refuses to accept toxic nonsense.

That’s right in keeping with Teen Vogue‘s overall policy of making sure that teen girls and young women are given access to everything they care about, from fashion tips to information on the policymakers who have the ability to change their daily lives.
