After Senate Majority Harry Reid twice repeated a claim that Mitt Romney has not paid any taxes in ten years, Romney finally responded to Reid on Sean Hannity‘s radio show this afternoon, saying that “it’s time for Harry to put up or shut up.”
Hannity asked Romney if he’s been “paying attention” to the accusations Reid has lobbed at him over the past few days. Romney did not mince words in his response to Reid’s claim.
“Well, it’s time for Harry to put up or shut up. Harry’s going to have to describe who it is he spoke with, because, of course, that’s completely and totally wrong. It’s untrue, dishonest, and inaccurate. It’s wrong. So I’m looking forward to have Harry reveal his sources, and we’ll probably find out it’s the White House.”
Romney said the Obama campaign has no intention of talking about serious economic issues and President Obama‘s unfulfilled political promises, choosing instead to focus on “baloney.”
