During today’s press briefing, Sean Spicer talked about President Trump‘s desire to get things done, even if that means working with Democrats over the House Freedom Caucus.
Earlier today Trump not only went after the conservative Freedom Caucus again, but said, “We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018.”
Spicer said that Trump has a “bold and robust agenda” and he wants to get it done, so “he’s gonna get the votes from wherever he can.”
Speaker Paul Ryan said in an interview with CBS’ Norah O’Donnell that he worries about Trump working with Democrats on health care if Republicans don’t get it done.
Spicer was also asked if Trump’s tweet meant he wants to see Freedom Caucus members face primaries next year. He responded, “I’m gonna let the tweet speak for itself.”
