The Veep Debate Just Got a Little More Exciting: Trump Vows to Live-Tweet
The first and only vice-presidential debate between Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine just got a little more exciting.
The debate will be reported in real time by Donald Trump. The GOP presidential candidate made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday afternoon, little more than five hours before the debate is scheduled to begin.
I will be watching the great Governor @Mike_Pence and live tweeting the VP debate tonight starting at 8:30pm est! Enjoy!

No word from the Clinton campaign whether they will do the same.
Pence has been jokingly referred to as the campaign’s cleanup crew because he is often called upon to defend or account for Trump’s more outrageous behavior. It is entirely possible that he will be asked about Trump’s Twitter habits — particularly his 3am tweetstorm last week, in which he insisted supporters seek out a sex tape.
