Ivanka Trump Responds to Accusations That She Is ‘Complicit’

Ivanka Trump is responding to the charge leveled by critics that she is essentially “complicit” in her father’s actions.

In a preview for the full interview on CBS This Morning tomorrow, Gayle King asked Trump about that accusation. Most notably, SNL put out a spoof ad for an Ivanka Trump perfume literally called “Complicit.”

Ivanka Trump––who now has an official White House position––said the following:

“If being complicit is wanting to––is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I’m complicit. I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I’m doing.”

She also said,”I don’t know what it means to be complicit,” but hopes she will be able to prove down the road that she has “done a good job” serving the country.
