Rick Perry, man. Bless his heart. The GOP presidential hopeful just seemingly refuses to filter or censor himself for the media, which results in such gems as Perry telling CNBC that it’s “fun” to keep the so-called birther controversy over Barack Obama‘s country of origin going.
“I mean, I get it,” he admitted. “I’m really not worried about the President’s birth certificate. It’s fun to poke at him a little bit and say, ‘Hey, how about it. Let’s see your grades and your birth certificate,'” referencing, of course, the speculation by some that Obama did not do as well at his Ivy League schools as others would have America believe.
Perry’s comments come on the heels of a revealing interview with Parade in which the Texas Governor shared that he doesn’t have “any idea” whether President Obama’s birth certificate is real.
