Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer: 10 People Have Offered to Pay the $1 Million Penalty for Her Speaking Out

Stormy Daniels‘ lawyer appeared on CNN again this morning and said “at least” 10 people have come forward offering to cover the big monetary penalty she would incur for breaking her silence.

Michael Smerconish worked through some of the issues raised in the lawsuit and had a few questions for Michael Avenatti about the circumstances of the original agreement, like whether Daniels handed over everything she had.

Smerconish then brought up how Daniels owes $1 million for “every episode that she goes out and speaks in violation of the confidentiality.”

Avenatti said called it “so unconscionable” and claimed no California court would enforce that, so Smerconish asked, “Why doesn’t she come on a program like mine right now and tell whatever the story is that she is dying to tell?”

Daniels’ lawyer said, “We may see that.”

Smerconish then directly asked, “Has anyone offered to pony up the million dollars to protect her and say, ‘Here, I’m good for it, go tell your story’?”

Avenatti responded, “At least ten individuals in the last three days alone.”

Smerconish asked if any of those people were Larry Flynt. Avenatti said he’s not aware of that and right now Daniels is not contemplating taking any of the offers.
