Trump: Graham-Cassidy Bill Has ‘Very Good Chance’ of Passing, Obamacare ‘Totally Dysfunctional’
As President Trump met with the President of Egypt this afternoon, he was asked about the ongoing Washington fight over health care.
He said he’s heard about “repeal and replace” for seven years and assumed he would be signing a bill as soon as he got to the Oval Office.
“It hasn’t worked out that way,” he said, “and I think a lot of Republicans are embarrassed by it, but I have to tell you, I think they’re gonna do a great job.”
The President believes that they have a “very good chance” of passing the Graham-Cassidy bill, saying, “Obamacare’s only getting worse. It’s dysfunctional now. It’s totally dysfunctional.”
