CNN’s Obama Interview Finishes Distant 2nd Behind FNC

Cable news ratings, September 20, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• While the final network ratings won’t be out until Thursday, the one cable interview as part of Pres. Barack Obama‘s Sunday show run was CNN’s State of the Union with John King. In its first airing at 9amET, the show had 602,000 total viewers and 228,000 in the A25-54 demographic – good for a distant 2nd behind Fox News. In its prime time airing at 8pmET, the interview finished 2nd in total viewers and 3rd, behind MSNBC as well, in the demo.

• The top rated program in prime time was FNC’s 8pmET hour in total viewers and 9pmET hour in the demo.
