Ron Paul Reveals Fox’s Judge Napolitano Might Make A Great Running Mate

Video

Republican presidential candidate and Congressman Ron Paul answered several viewer questions during his appearance on Fox News today. Most of the questions and answers were very serious, yet when the last question addressed some rumors regarding who Paul might consider to be his running mate, Paul couldn’t help but crack a smile as he admitted a certain Fox Business host would be a great addition to any administration.

Paul suggested it was premature to discuss who he would pick as his Vice President, yet that didn’t stop him from singing the praises of Judge Andrew Napolitano:

“I do have to admit . . . I really admire Judge Napolitano, so I mentioned him [in response to someone asking previously who he would consider as a running mate] . . . I think he would be good in any administration. I think he would be grand on the Supreme Court.”

In today’s political environment, anything seems possible and Judge Napolitano being considered for a political appointment in Paul’s administration actually wouldn’t be that surprising. And just to clear up some other speculation, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that Herman Cain would consider appointing Judge Judy to the Supreme Court.

Not a shocker. They’re both Libertarians. That’s why the Judge has Palin on so often.

  • NonElite

Running mate? Napolitano should be running for President.

  • Tedderman

Grandfather time and a pit bull using dubious talking points, sounds like a winner to me.

  • THE REAL ROYAL KING

Ought to select Jon Stewart. He seems to provoke a plethora of profound responses.

Napolitano is a man of principle and conviction, and doesn’t sugarcoat things with layers and layers of spin. So there is no place for him in Washington D.C.

Hey Judge, give Boyden Gray a hand…

Just breaking now, former WH Council C. Boyden Gray is advising a congresional effort to VOID Media Matters of its tax-exempt status. Gray has a plethora of evidence documenting MM’s political activism for the Democrats.
Let’s go after the NAACP, laRaza, CAIR and the ACLU next!

Hey Soros & Media Matters…say hello to Van Jones and ACORN on your way down!!!

Is RP aware that Napolitano is a known Howard Stern sympathizer?

Andrew Napolitano would DESTROY Joe Biden if they were ever to debate on domestic or foreign policy.

Biden will be no match for an expert that understands the laws and knows the true meaning of governing within the confines of the US Constitution. It would be an interesting debate to watch at he treats Joe Biden like a little child in elementary school.

With diplomatic experience dating back more than 25 years to the presidency of Ronald Reagan, former ambassador David Newton told a group of Ashburn residents this week that fear of Muslims stems from a lack of understanding of a religion many Americans associate with the terrorist actions of a few adherents.

“There is a fear against Islam because we’ve been enemies for so long. There is a need to understand the underlying basis of this religion,” Newton stressed. “We are much more the same than we are different.”

In the two-minute video, the men, wearing explosive belts (or suicide vests) and kaffiya head scarves to cover their faces, recite verses from the Quran while forcing Latif to the ground and pinning him with their feet. “You who are joined with pagans . . . your sentence [is] to be beheaded,” read one of the militants in Farsi from what looked like a paper decree. “Whoever changes his religion should be executed.” The passages refer to Sura 8:12 (“I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks . . .”) and the hadiths, or sayings of Mohammed.

As Latif fought his captors from the ground, one of the militants thrust a medium-sized blade into the side of his neck. With blood flowing onto the ground the militants shouted “Allahu Akhbar” or “God is great” over and over until Latif was fully beheaded and his head was placed on top of his chest.

Of course, in order for this to happen–at least in the current scenario–Ron Paul would have to be nominated, and we all know that ain’t gonna happen. But I do look forward to another silly season of him cleaning house at Republic Party debates and then being poo-pooed by the FNC crowd.

Any rational person realizes that moRon paul, who actually occasionally has some good ideas (like stopping the out-of-control, reckless, irresponsible, big-bank-profits-supporting federal reserve), is basically a flake who is best ignored

moRon paul couldn’t win a NATIONAL ELECTION even if his were the ONLY name on the ballot.

The responsible conservative movement is committed to having candidates for president that can actually WIN A NATIONAL ELECTION, yet remain true to conservative principles and ideals, and not to supporting a fringe ideologue like the lunatic-left d-cRAT socialists do.

Rick Perry should run; just stand next to the community organizer and ask the camera:
Do you want 4 more years of HIS policies & results – or MY policies & results?

Ron Paul is the only man than FIX the United States and confront the very rich and powerful secret societies that run the Fed and invariably the financial-military industrial complex. America is owned and controlled by a few, but you can believe it if you like. Republican or Democrat opposing each other is just merely a stage performance.

The Federal Reserve is the most secretive establishment in the world, yet they are the ones who decide the fate of 310,000,000 Americans and the entire global economy.

Interesting. I disagree on only one point: the most secretive establishment in the world is the cabal who got together and somehow convinced you that you employ logic and reason. Now there’s a scary group.

Didn’t we hear that about 1TRILLION DOLLARS ago?

Agreed. He’s good for the conversation overall, but he adds more liberals to the mix than Conservatives. He’s got some of the rudest followers. They always game polls. You need only to go to Hotair to check out what conservatives think of RP. I like Rand Paul. Ron Paul – not so much.

Rand has no soul. That is not my opinion, but card carrying libertarians.

I think that the common base that attracts votes for elder Paul is the libertarian no regulation economic principles which are conservative, and the individual rights stick, which of course was the ultimate losing position at the time the Constitution was ratified. Both are republican and conservative, mostly. I love the man, myself, he adds to the discussion. A great man, in fact. IMHO.

Yeah you neoconservatives were always so nice to congressman Paul. I routinely heard you war warmongerists say that Ron Paul hated America and “blamed America first”. We RonPaulians would merely set you straight with facts on his beliefs and record and of course, that’s “rude”.

Speaking of Rude – I can still remember that in the 2007/2008 GOP debates people like Giuliani, Romney and McCain would SNICKER at Ron Paul while he’d answer questions. That was not rude? Give me a physical break. oh and look today, it seems some people are stealing those very issues from Ron Paul…

NeoConHotAir does not allow people to sign up and add comments because they’re a bunch of fascists. lol.. I’m not sure who IS allowed in over there (David Horowitz clones?) but I know I’ve never once seen them open up their site to new registrations.

If we’d been listening to Ron Paul all these years, we’d not be in the mess we’re in right now. Period. The great part about all of this is you military interventionists are losing the argument and even the GOP is split now between your constant love of war and REALITY that we just can’t afford it and have no money.

You guys are becoming fringe, thank God, while Ron Paul is becoming more mainstream.

Judge Andrew Napolitano is a very fine individual. He is presently a major spokesman for those would have serious changes in the direction in which this country is headed. He is needed there as that spokesman at Fox News and I would have him stay there.

The greatest candidate to run with Ron Paul in the VP slot would be Gary Johnson. While, I personally do not consider executive experience necessary for the presidency or vice-presidency, the media does frequently make that claim and then cause the people in general to believe it. Gary Johnson has that executive experience as a two-term governor of New Mexico. He is young and fit and could campaign for the presidency in four or eight years if he so desired.

The really great thing about Johnson filling the VP slot is that it would mean no loss of Tea Party votes in Congress or loss of Tea Party spokesmen in the media. Johnson is not currently holding office, so there would be no loss of a Tea Party vote.

As Ron Paul mentioned in this news video, Napolitano would make a terrific Supreme Court nominee. I would put him there or have him remain as a Tea Party spokesman on Fox News. Put Johnson in the VP slot and save votes and spokesmen for the Tea Party.

Wow no comments… hey solid article that really is looking ahead to what will happen soon.  There is no one better with more name recognition that fights ardently for liberty and has a deep seeded distrust and hate for tyranny than Judge Napolitano.  A poll was done by http://www.ronpaul.com for a vp pick with over 7000 votes and The Judge came in first.  Second Ventura which would be destroyed by the media for his truther and other conspiracy theories as much sense and fact they may be.  Third was his son Rand Paul and that is not going to happen.  Our movement for liberty would benefit exponentially for having a VP like Judge Napolitano and would be our honor if he decided to support ron paul who he is a great supporter of.
