Somehow Judith Miller Is Now an Iraq Expert for Fox News

When you think of former New York Times correspondent Judith Miller and Iraq together, you most likely recall her series of wholly inaccurate reports on weapons of mass destruction allegedly acquired by then-Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

One would think that makes her a less-than-desirable pundit to speak on Iraqi issues, considering many from both the left and right consider her shoddy reporting to be an example of media malpractice having helped contribute to a war that cost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars.

And yet, here she is today, on Fox News, speaking as an expert on media coverage of the currently unfolding Iraq situation.

“Did the media buy the line from the administration?” Fox host Eric Shawn asked Miller at one point. Oh, irony.
