As we previously reported, hip-hop artist and mogul-of-many-things Jay-Z told CNN Monday that he supports President Obama‘s recent decision to back same-sex marriage, calling it “the right thing to do.” Now another successful rapper, T.I., has joined the chorus, telling MTV this week that “you should be able to do whatever you want to do.”
In an interview with MTV’s Sway, the Atlanta-based multi-platinum-selling rapper said “I don’t care” if gay people get married. If it doesn’t affect you then “what difference does it make to you what other people are doing with their lives?”
“I think that you should be able to do whatever you want to do,” he added, or as the rapper once said in his 2008 mega-hit: You can have whatever you like.
When Sway asked the rapper he’ll vote for this November, T.I. responded, “I don’t think that’s a hard question,” eventually confirming: “Obama.”
