Bill O’Reilly Opens Up About Working with 9/11 Charity
Say what you will about Bill O’Reilly, you can’t fault him for his big involvement with a number of charities. And on the anniversary of 9/11, O’Reilly spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about a charity he’s working with to help children who lost loved ones on that tragic day.
Tuesday’s Children works with thousands of people whose family members died in the September 11th attacks. They have community service initiatives, a youth mentoring program, and a number of support programs.
O’Reilly said his job in working with this group is “to raise awareness that kids still need help,” because losing a loved one in such a horrible way is hard on anyone and so “Americans need to be engaged with these kids.” And what’s struck O’Reilly so much about these young people is the character-building and resilience he’s witnessed from them over the years.
