Mika Slams Ivanka and Melania as WH Figureheads: ‘These Women Have Been Given Fake Jobs’
On Monday, we posted about Ivanka Trump scolding NBC’s Peter Alexander for asking whether she believes the women who have accused her father, President Donald Trump, of sexual misconduct.
“I think it’s a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he’s affirmatively stated that there’s no truth to it,” Ivanka told Alexander.
She added, “I don’t think that’s a question you would ask many other daughters. I believe my father, I know my father.”
Mika Brzezinski was not even remotely satisfied by Ivanka’s response. Tuesday on Morning Joe, she tore into the first daughter for dodging the question.
“She can’t handle a question like that — the whole thing is clearly a joke,” Brzezinski said. “An utter joke. Just like Melania [Trump]’s role on cyberbullying, which an insult to women.”
Brzezinski went on to blast both the First Lady and the First Daughter for, essentially, serving as White House figureheads with no real power.
“[It’s] insulting to women [that] these women have been given fake jobs,” Brzezinski said.
