Obama: Enough GOP Candidates for an ‘Actual Hunger Games’

Without naming any names, President Barack Obama shared his thoughts about the exploding 2016 Republican presidential field during a speech in Wisconsin Thursday afternoon. As more and more members of the GOP join the race every week, the president said there may soon bye enough candidates for a full-on fight to the death.
While there is some “healthy competition” in the Democratic Party, Obama said he’s “lost count” of how many people are currently running on the right. “They’ll have enough for an actual Hunger Games,” he joked, drawing a huge reaction from the crowd of supporters. “That is an interesting bunch,” he added.

Technically, a Hunger Games competition must consist of 24 candidates, one boy and one girl from each of the dystopian world’s 12 districts. Currently, there are 14 announced candidates on the Republican side, with the addition of Chris Christie this week and 5 Democrats, with Jebb Webb jumping on board just today.
Throw in the still-unannounced Scott Walker and John Kasich on the right and Vice President Joe Biden for good measure and then it will be on for real.
