Paul Ryan: ‘I’ve Seen No Evidence’ of Trump’s Claim of Voter Fraud

Speaker Paul Ryan was asked at a press conference earlier today about President Trump‘s claims of voter fraud.

In a meeting with congressional leaders yesterday, Trump reportedly once again brought up something he has expressed publicly, that there were millions of illegal votes cast in the presidential election.

CBS’ Nancy Cordes asked Ryan about this today:

“Did you feel the need to correct him, and does it trouble you that he continues to hold a belief like this that isn’t based in fact?”

Ryan responded, “I’ve already commented on that. I’ve seen no evidence to that effect, and I’ve made that very, very clear.”
