The View Panelists and Audience All Agree: ‘Yeah,’ Sessions Has ‘To Go’

After explaining that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is currently in hot water for failing to disclose — when asked under oath! — that he was in contact with the Russian ambassador, Whoopi Goldberg asked her fellow panelists on The View and the audience whether they thought he had “to go.”

From the co-hosts and the viewers alike, there was a chorus of “yeah,” “yep,” and, “yes.” Jedediah Bila, in particular, was vocal with her conviction about the controversial AG pick, though she wondered why he didn’t just tell the truth in the first place.

“I do think he has to recuse himself from any and all investigations,” stated Sunny Hostin, who pointed out that during Sessions’s confirmation hearing, he wasn’t necessarily asked about his own interactions with Russian officials so much as he was asked about the interactions of everyone on Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign.

Hostin and Bila were able to agree that whether the question was about him directly or not, Sessions’s answer made him “look shady.”

Joy Behar had a question similar to Bila’s, but hers extended to Michael Flynn, too.

“Why are they lying?” she demanded.
