Trump Claims ESPN’s Ratings Have ‘Tanked’ Because of Jemele Hill

Whoever had money on the President of the United States slamming ESPN anchor Jemele Hill on Twitter before 7 a.m. today, collect your winnings.

Trump tweeted the following about Hill, claiming her presence that the network makes it “no wonder” ESPN’s ratings have “tanked”:

The tweet comes the morning after Hill was suspended from ESPN for two weeks for a second violation of their social media guidelines.

The SportsCenter anchor first found herself in hot water last month after she called Trump a white supremacist in a tweet, leading to many — including the White House — to call for her firing.

The tweet that led to her suspension called for a boycott of Dallas Cowboys advertisers after owner Jerry Jones made comments that any player who disrespects the flag will not play for his team.
