In the previous two Republican debates, Donald Trump established that he has a habit of complaining about the discussions whenever things don’t go to his liking. With the criticism the CNBC debate has been receiving this morning, Trump proved that, as far as the moderators go, the third one would be no exception.
During his closing remarks last night, Trump bragged about how he and Ben Carson stuck it to the network by successfully demanding that the debate time would be limited to two hours instead of being extended to three. Moderator John Harwood said that the debate’s extension was never formally proposed, but Trump called him out and said that he was not being truthful.
Trump told reporters last night that he was pleased by the way things went for him, but there was no way he could pass up a chance to retweet a supporter’s jab about Harwood’s supposed lie:
