As I said I don’t agree with everything, but he has accomplished a great deal in his 20 months, and you can’t just turn around 8 years in 20 months. I voted for him and will continue to stand by him, if nothing has changed after his 1st term ends, then I will make my decision. I’m not sure you have all your facts straight, but none the less, we all have to make some sacrifices to get the country back on track. Thomas, if I’m right, the movie you are referring to about “assassinating” Bush is “Death of a President”. I’m going to assume that you havent’ seen the movie based on your comment…

I have seen it. I rented it when it first came out to see if it was really about assassinating him. I was appalled that a movie would celebrate Bush’s death, and I couldn’t believe anyone would actually make such a movie, so I saw it for myself. Boy, was I wrong.

If anything, it shows how rabid some of his critics could be. It showed anti-Bush protesters as being incredibly violent. It did not celebrate the anti-Bush violence. The movie essentially was about how tragic it would be for the America and the world if Bush was in fact assassinated. It made me feel sympathy for Bush, believe it or not. Do watch the movie before you judge on this.
