including pay and health benefits to the soldiers, because he wants to be
fiscally responsible. Of course he does, how else do you think he is going to
get the billions to give to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Egyptian Nazis? Now,
he is using the threat of military cuts against the Super-Committee. There shouldn’t even be a Super-committee,
because it may be unconstitutional. The Super-committee combines the House and
the Senate and I do not believe they can do that without amending the
Constitution.

announced that Retired Army General Stanley McChrystal will join the First Lady
Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden to lead a program in support of military
families dubbed “Joining Forces.” He has Michelle Obama and Jill Biden doing
commercials about the American people supporting our troops. Let’s see, Obama
has cut funding for the military in the past, but now he is launching a
national initiative supporting military families.

not forget Bill O’Reilly’s Super-bowl (Super-dud) interview with Obama when
O’Reilly asks him, “What’s the worst part of the job?”   Obama said the worst part of the job is he
has to wear a jacket on Super Bowl Sunday and being in the bubble, with eyes
constantly on him, where he is not able to have a spontaneous conversation with
someone. A pathetic and pitiful response. I would think it would be writing a
letter of condolence to the family of a fallen soldier or sending soldiers in
harms way. Then again, what do you expect from a coming from a narcissistic

After the death of Osama Bin Laden Obama gave

The woman of Afghanistan are facing a crisis which threatens to roll back many of the advances in equality and human rights that the West promised after the fall of the Taliban. Brothels in Kabul continue to service NATO officials and contractors, burkas are once again becoming the norm, and Afghan women continued to be legally viewed as mere property of their families and husbands, with criminal penalties for failing to act as property.As one of her supporters, this author expected more from First Lady Michelle Obama. While she has won praise for her excellent fashion sense and her support for healthy foods, both issues are safe and uncontroversial. The American people bestowed upon her a unique and priceless soap box on which she can stand and command attention. As perhaps the most popular and respected person in America, her powerful voice has been silent on far too many important issues. One of those issues is the Obama Administration’s failure to support women’s rights in Afghanistan. This article looks at just three of the problems facing Afghan women.

As a matter of history, the KKK was and is a Democratic Party feature. It was formed after the Civil War, by frustrated Southerners who hate Blacks, as an identity to be against the Party of Lincoln (Republican).

Pretty damning that Obama skipped out on the tradition of observing Memorial Day in Arlington.  Seems pretty outrageous right, I mean it’s a tradition.  He’s done it several years in his presidency, but he did indeed miss one!  Let’s see what history has to say about this… Oh snap!  I didn’t know you had such hatred for Ronald Reagan!  Usually he’s seen favorably by the right wing, but I see here Reagen missed this tradition 4 times in his 8 years.  So it’s nice to see that you’ll attack Ronald Reagan.  Also on the list.  George H. W. Bush attended 0 times out of his 4 terms, that’s probably worthy of treason in your eyes.  And his son George W. Bush missed 1 out of his 8.  So out of 16 years of Republican Presidents we’ve had the tradition broken an amazing 9 times!  That’s less than 50% of the time they carried out this tradition.  Bill Clinton attended every single Memorial Day during his term.  So under Democrats we have 8 for Clinton out of his 8 years and Obama has been 2 times out of his 3 years.  Democrats have an amazing 10 out of 11… over 90%.  Interesting with Republicans showing such complete and utter disrespect for the troops in your eyes and by your own judgement that you wait for the first year out of the past 11 for a Democrat to speak in a different location and suddenly it’s an issue to you.  At the very least start that complaint about this “tradition” by noting that over half the time the Republicans don’t even bother to show up before you try to take Obama to task for speaking at a different location one time in his presidency.  Right now he’s tied for the best any Republican has done.

Since I can’t exactly fault your opinion as wrong as it may be I’m skipping your issue with Obama deciding to use the first 4 months of his presidency and the results of that.  Most independent analysts disagree with your assessment and have said that Obama’s judgement has been very good in terms of that war.  But like I said that’s your opinion and as such you’re entitled to believe whatever it is you choose.  I’m simply jumping in because every instance you’ve mentioned to justify your issues with Obama have been false thus far.  I’m also skipping your views on the issue of the photographs and DOD secretary “Bill Gates” (his name is Robert Gates btw).  That again borders more on opinion than on facts.  Robert Gates has said many critical things and they aren’t always necessarily accurate. To make your case we’d have to assess those who had issue in reality and those who didn’t rather than simply what.  Also worth noting that your main claim of support to this theory lies with the Secretary of Defense who over saw the military during the extremely poor treatment of veterans at Walter Reed Medical Center (not exactly the best witness in terms of honoring the troops) and who supported the surge in Afghanistan and worked closely with Obama designing the strategy that you take significant issue with.  So let’s put aside someone who obviously dropped the ball when it came to caring for the troops and someone with whom you disagree with deeply in terms of military strategy.

So that leaves Obama “threatening the paychecks of those who serve”.  Much like every point you’ve stated thus far, the only references to this are on extreme right wing sites that don’t have remotely good track records with reality or the truth.  This is another deliberate attempt to smear Obama and little more.  The reality of what happened here is actually much more severe.  In reality during this show down a lot of valuable government employees might not have received their pay, since of course their pay is dependent on having a budget and the money with which to pay them.  Of course this did not happen and even your character witness Robert Gates told the troops that they would be paid, albeit at the end of the month of April it would be “back pay”.  Now as to whether Obama held the pay hostage, this is pretty laughable.  He and Democrats did want to make sure that the country could afford to keep paying for these wars and they would like to raise taxes on the rich (those making over at least $250,000 individually) since tax rates on the rich are at historically low levels.  Most of the increases would be to put them back in line with the rate that was in effect under Clinton when the budget was balanced and the economy was booming.  George W. Bush did something historic.  For the first time in American history he entered a war without raising taxes.  Obviously wars are extremely expensive and Bush entered not one but two wars for the first time in our history without raising taxes to pay for them.  Not only that, he lowered taxes on the rich.  What Obama and Democrats sought to do was to restore taxes to the state they were in BEFORE Bush lowered them, basically eliminating those tax cuts that are set to expire eventually anyway.  Based on your statements it’s likely that you think extending these tax cuts for the rich are a good idea.  That again isn’t exactly a sentiment of someone who served in the military and depended upon tax dollars for each paycheck.  But putting that aside, the reality of what was going on in Washington at the time was that both parties were sticking to their principals during the debate.  Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress were threatening government pay checks by battling in the debate.  It would be just as true to say Republicans in Congress were threatening the paychecks of those who serve.  At that point it depends on what you like better.  Republicans threatening the troops pay so that the richest 1% in this country get to keep their tax cuts instead of helping to pay for the war Republicans started…. or you have Democrats and Obama threatening the troops pay by trying to get enough revenue to actually keep you and your fellow troops employed and paid into the future.  After all Tax increases are reveneue and that’s how you all get paid.  Ironic that one side wanted to make sure we had more money to pay you, but you seem to be siding with the party that was willing to risk your paycheck to make sure America had less money with which to pay you.  And of course at the end of this debate… who won?  The budget was passed and Obama did not veto it.  So apparently even though Republicans were willing to risk troops pay checks by not compromising and eliminating those unfunded tax breaks on the richest 1% in this country to help pay for two unfunded wars… the Democrats and Obama were willing to compromise to make sure that you did get paid.  Obama and the Democrats didn’t let party politics stop troops from getting pay checks.  They compromised to make sure you were paid, and the Republican obstructionism eventually went on to cost America it’s first ever downgraded credit rating later.

But of course with all that in mind… it’s still Obama you’re mad at because that’s what the talking heads on Fox news and other right wing trash tells you to believe.  You sure seem passionate, if only you’d spend even a slight sliver of time educating yourself first.

Whether the booing was political or racial it is my understanding, that as outlined in our constitution, we are all entitled to freedom of speech regardless of our social-economic status. Such as all of you are entitled to express your feelings without the fear of reprisal. I think that we all should be more concerned with the intrusion of the government into our private lives. The constant attack upon our civil liberties which are being removed under the guise that the goverment is helping us live a more protected and productive life.  To quote Thomas Jefferson, “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take everything you have”. Stop and think of all the things that you used to be able to do 20, 30, 40 years ago that we have now lost the right to do because it has been legislated away. How do you figure? When the Democrats had control, the only thing they did was try to take control of what ever they could. Borrowing money from China did not stabilize anything. They made the problem worse. Getting involved in the private sector with the so called bail outs did nothing but cause more problems. Granting a pardon to black panther members that tried to intimidate voters, that was a total abuse of power. Trying to push laws through that clearly take freedoms away from the people by trying to take away our right to choose our own healthcare and taxing our retirement plans. This, to me, doesn’t sound like progress. This sounds more like what Lennon, Stalin and quite a few other socialist parties did when they got into power. I agree that the government as a whole is broken. I do not agree that any one party is more to blame than the other. If you look back in the history of our government you will even have to admit that both parties are guilty of bad acts. However, this administration is not, by any means, trying to fix our current problems. All they are trying to do is take over and therefore destroying the very ideas that created this country. They are doing everything in their power to take the power away from the people  and put it in the hands of the government. If you can’t see this then maybe you should open your eyes and look closely at the people you are defending so blindly. Start with your president. Look up the Cloward & Piven theory. Finally, he embraces black liberation theology.  I am no expert on it, but from what I’ve read….they’re none too fond of the white man or the Jew.  This man is a poor example of a “man of God”.
