Be Careful If You Set Up Recurring Donations to Trump Because You Can’t Cancel

A big part of election season is donating. Bernie Sanders proved that when a candidate’s message really resonates, everyday people will step up and give financial contributions.

Donald Trump‘s campaign accepts donations, of course. For months, he has gone back and forth between talking about how much cash he has on hand to self-fund his campaign and discussing fundraising efforts. His donation page remains intact through it all.

If you plan to help him out with all that, though, be warned: Mic uncovered that unlike Hillary Clinton, Trump doesn’t include a “cancel” option on his recurring donations. If you sign up to have money pulled from your account and sent to the reality TV star once a month, it looks like you’re stuck, no matter how many babies he yells at and how that might make you want to reconsider.

After that tweet from CNN’s Jeremy Diamond went out, Mic did some investigating and confirmed that there is no easy way to stop the payments from continuing. They recommended canceling your credit card.
