Beck Predicts Obama Will Be ‘Lucky’ to Have This Approval Rating by Time He Leaves Office

New analysis from National Journal‘s Alex Roarty suggests President Obama‘s plummeting approval numbers have a very slim chance of bouncing back, since most presidents don’t see poll recoveries unless they’re running for reelection. Glenn Beck touted this on his show Tuesday and predicted that Obama would be “lucky” if his approval ratings break 20 percent by the time he leaves office.

Beck also highlighted how the RealClearPolitics average on Obama’s approval numbers is at 41.7 percent, and reminded his audience he warned of a “long, national, four-year nightmare” if Obama won reelection. Beck said the president “could be impeached on a lot of things,” and said of the poll numbers, “In 18 to 24 months that number will be lucky to be at 20.”

Beck also gave a shoutout to Mediaite’s Noah Rothman for a piece on how Obama, not George W. Bush, effectively weakened America’s standing in the Middle East.
